Digital Camera Fundamentals – 2026
Digital Camera Fundamentals is a weekend workshop that will teach you to operate your camera outside of automatic settings. This will allow you to create different looks and styles to your photographs. It will help you to achieve better technical quality images and improve your understanding of your cameras capabilities and advanced features.
Portrait Photography – May 30th and 31st, 2026
This class covers the building blocks of posing people and a study of light. Learn how to pose and light people to create flattering portraits. Lunch is included on Saturday.
Wildlife Photography – June 13th and 14th, 2026
Wildlife Photography will teach you the ins and outs of capturing photographs of animals in the wild. This class features a field trip to a nearby natural area. Lunch is included on both days.
Landscape Photography Level 2 – Feb 28th and March 1st, 2026
The Art of Landscape Photography Level 1 will teach you the ins and outs of great scenic image making. A sunrise field trip will be held on Sunday morning (weather depending). Lunch is included on both days.
Introduction to Adobe Photoshop – On Line – Spring 2026
This class is offered as ON-LINE LEARNING and will be delivered via ZOOM MEETINGS. The link for these classes is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87697047478
A PDF handout will be emailed to you prior to the 1st class.
You must have a computer to with Adobe Photoshop CS installed and updated. It is helpful to use a separate device such as a tablet or laptop to join the zoom meeting so you may follow the instruction on the your computer with Photoshop.

Macro Photography – May 16th & 17th, 2026
Macro Photography class will teach you the ins and outs of extreme close up photography. If you do not already own macro photography equipment, specialty lenses can be rented at McBain Camera or at Vistek in Edmonton. The school can provide a limited amount of equipment for students to use during class. A handout for you to keep will also be provide. Lunch is included on both days.
